The convalescent cup has a lid with a mouth piece and a hole large enough to accommodate a straw.

Opposite the mouth piece there is a small air inlet hole in the lid, by putting a finger over the air hole you can regulate the flow of the liquid.

Ideal for drinking while lying in bed.
